The Douglas County Master Gardener’s annual Native Plant Sale will be Saturday, May 30th from 9am to 3pm at the open pavilion at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, 2120 Harper Street, Lawrence, Ks. We will have over 10,000 plants, locally grown, with no harmful neonicotinoids. Our plants are all native to Kansas and are true natives, not cultivars. The plant sale helps fund the Douglas County Master Gardeners and funds garden related grants for Douglas County.

Want to know why planting natives is so important?  We would like to invite the public to a free “Native Plants Talk”  presented by Dr. Sharon Ashworth, Douglas County Horticulture and Natural Resources Agent, on Thursday, May 28th from 5:30-6:30pm in the Dreher Building at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, 2110 Harper St.

You can view a list of all the Native Plants in our sale, or look at the Bloom Boxes you can order before the sale.
