What is the Big Idea??

  • EMG booths sharing what’s new and exciting in their space​
  • We are challenging our vendors to bring us their latest and greatest​
  • And we invite our attendees to tell us about their big ideas ​

There are a variety of great things included in our Garden Show. Hope you will join us to learn about gardening, eat great food, purchase a few useful and/or beautiful items for your garden and enjoy talking with other gardeners. Check out the Schedule below so you know what is happening throughout the day.

Schedule:

Below is the schedule of events for anything that begins at a certain time. Other parts of the Garden Show; like the Garden Art, Garage Sale, Educational Booths, Raffle, etc. will be open from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

  • 9:00 am show opens – Building 21​
  • 10:00 am speaker – Betsy Betros on Spiders are Fascinating in Dreher North​
  • Noon – Rain Barrel Workshop – Flory Meeting Hall​​, preregistration required
  • 1:00 pm speaker – speaker Neil Bass on the Natural history of Fort Leavenworth, Kansas – Dreher North​
  • 2:00 pm Raffle Drawings​ winners announced
  • 3:00 pm show closes​

… Acknowledging Mother Nature …​

We are also celebrating the Spring Equinox that marks the first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere, while the Southern Hemisphere begins autumn. This equinox, which occurs on March 20 this year, is the day when there are nearly equal hours of daylight and darkness.
